Car Design

Take a tour through the Durant Gallery to explore how cars have changed over the years. Build a simple buggy chassis and add an aerodynamic design to it then test it at the Wind Wall in Discovery Hall.

Guest teachers from the Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society will be on hand as girls explore Earth from the inside out. Make a model volcano and make it erupt while learning about the Ring of Fire. Use mineral chips to make a beautiful piece of jewelry and investigate Earth’s place in space.
