Space Academy - a new live, interactive program to teach kids about astronomy

Mask policy: effective March 1, 2022, masks are respected but not expected or required.

Space Academy covers the fundamentals of astronomy in an interactive 45 minute presentation. Recommended for kids at a 3rd Grade comprehension or older.

Show Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Space Academy: Planets  June 4 - July 3, 2022

Planets will tour the Solar System, demonstrate how to find planets in the night sky, explore what makes each planet unique, and discuss the importance of gravity.

Space Academy: Time and Motion  July 5 - August 7, 2022

Time & Motion will investigate the recurring patterns in the night sky including the day/night cycle, moon phases, and seasonal changes of the Sun and stars.

Space Academy: Stars  August 8 - September 4, 2022

Stars explores the life, birth, and death of stars including stellar formation, the electromagnetic spectrum, supernovae, and star lore.

Tickets: $7 adults, $5 seniors 60+, and $5 youth ages 2-11
