Sloan Museum is now open at Courtland Center Mall, while the Flint Cultural Center location is closed for renovation. Throughout the renovation project, Sloan Museum will continue to present rotating hands-on traveling exhibits and historic vehicles from Flint & Genesee County history.
A Totally Kinetic Experience!

This active learning laboratory teaches physics principles through hands-on play. Explore potential and kinetic energy while racing cars and catapulting balls. Experiment with friction while hula-hooping and playing with an air table and puck. Discover the power of momentum as you test out Newton’s Cradle. This totally kinetic experience appeals to continuously bouncing kids of all ages.

Sloan Museum is located inside Courtland Center, accessible through the Court St. mall entrance, right next to El Cozumel Mexican Grill.

Capacity will be limited to 50 visitors per ticket time.
We will close for an hour of cleaning after each ticket time.
Open: 12:00-2:00 PM
Closed for cleaning: 2:00-3:00 PM

Traveling Exhibit Admission: $7 adults, $5 seniors 60+, and $5 youth ages 2-11
Genesee County Residents
Traveling Exhibit Admission is $3 per person for Genesee County residents.
When you arrive, please present your driver’s license or ID with your address on it to confirm your residency. Longway Planetarium shows are funded in part by the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage. Your tax dollars are at work.
Both Traveling Exhibits and General Admission Exhibits are free for members.
