September LEGO® Club | LEGO® Parade
Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026 | 10-11:30 a.m.
Location: Sloan Museum of Discovery | Discovery Lab
Join us for a LEGO-building adventure! Step in the Discovery Lab Maker Space for our once a month building challenge, open to LEGO®-enthusiasts of all ages! Participants will be challenged to design and make their own parade float to put on display in our LEGO® parade! Floats can be any theme or celebration you'd like. LEGO®club is FREE, included with museum general admission.
Early On - FREE Family Fun for Children Age 0-5
Date & Time: Select Thursdays September 2025-June 2026 from 5-7 p.m.
Location: Sloan Museum of Discovery
Ages: Children ages 0-5 and their families (older siblings welcome)
Celebrate the seasons with your senses! Early On of Genesee County and the Sloan Musuem of Discovery have partnered again to offer free family fun to the community. Our monthly events will include at least 2 hands-on activities relating to the seasons, exploration of Hagerman Street Gallery and the Discovery Hall’s Water Table, book giveaways, and dinner. These events are kindly recommended for families with children aged 0-5 years-old. Older siblings are welcome to attend.
Monthly Book Clubs
Join us for monthly book clubs! Book Club participation is FREE, but participants are responsible for acquiring their own book. Pre-registration is recommended.

Don't forget to drop by the Discovery Lab maker's space, located within Discovery Hall!
Planned hands-on activities and supplies are available weekly from our floor staff and educators to engage and inspire parents and children alike. Or, grab some materials and let your imagination take the lead - the Discovery Lab is stocked full of arts and crafts, Legos, and MORE! These workshops are completely free, included with Museum admission.
