32nd Annual Golden Memories
FREE AUTOMOBILE GATHERING
Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026 | 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Location: In the Flint Cultural Center
This very special event is exclusively for original or authentically-restored vehicles produced in 1976 or earlier. No visual modifications are allowed, including wheels and hubcaps. The Golden Memories Automobile Gathering is sponsored by Attentive Industries, Friends of Sloan*Longway, Roaring 20’s Ice Cream Parlor, and Hot Dog Heaven, making it free to exhibitors and attendees.
Registration takes place between 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon the day of the event. Driver and one passenger will receive free admission to the show grounds, Sloan Museum of Discovery, and 10% off all gift shop purchases! Suitcase Swap Meet Vehicle owners are welcome to sell or trade anything they can fit in a suitcase. There will be an Owners Choice Award and an award will be given to the youngest registrant in attendance. Dash plaques given to the first 160 vehicles.

Please note:
- No judging takes place.
- Special recognition for cars 50, 75 & 100 years old with a pass in review.
- Following year’s dash plaque winner is selected through a lottery type drawing.
