Artemis II vs. Hail Mary
Friday, October 2, 2026 | 6 p.m. at Longway Planetarium
Explore the real life space mission of Artemis II and compare it to the fictional mission of the Hail Mary spacecraft from the movie, Hail Mary, an award-winning book by Andy Weir. Using the technology of the Planetarium, we will trace the flight paths of each mission, see views that the astronauts witnessed (both real and fictional) and talk about the real technology used to move spacecraft and what might be possible in the future.
