“Mysteries of the Titanic” examines some common misperceptions about the legendary ship, her tragic fate, and what happened to some of her third class passengers. Cathy Akers-Jordan co-authored Report into the Loss of the SS Titanic: A Centennial Reappraisal, and teaches writing at the University of Michigan-Flint. Her special areas of interest are the treatment of third class passengers and the existence of passenger segregation gates on the Titanic.
