Dinosaurs so big—they don't fit in Sloan Museum! Roaring, moving, life-size dinosaurs thundered into Sloan Museum at Courtland Center. State-of-the-art and scientifically accurate, down to the feathers on T. rex, Dinosaurs Unearthed featured over 15 animatronic dinosaurs, as well as giant skeletons, fossil casts of skulls, claws, and horns, real specimens of Mosasaur and Spinosaurus teeth, an Oviraptor egg, and even coprolite (dinosaur poop).
Location

Sloan Museum is located inside Courtland Center, accessible through the Court St. mall entrance, right next to El Cozumel Mexican Grill.
Immersive Displays and Hands-On Fun
Animatronic Dinosaurs
Get up-close with 18 lifelike, life-size dinosaurs, accurate to how scientists believe they looked, sounded, and moved. Favorites like the feathered juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex tell the amazing story of feathered dinosaurs, based on the most current scientific findings of the last decade.
Skeletons
This collection of four replica Jurassic skeletons, all found in China, includes the long-necked Omeisaurus and its main predator, Yangchuanosaurus, as well as the graceful swimming Bishanopliosaurus, and Tuojangosaurus, a relative of the North American Stegosaurus.
Fossils
See over 20 fossil casts, including feathered fossil replicas that illuminate the connection between ancient dinosaurs and modern birds. Real fossil specimens include Spinosaurus and Mosasaur teeth, an Oviraptor egg, and coprolite (dinosaur poop).
Hands-On Activities
Future paleontologists can uncover their own fossil finds in the kids’ dig site, operate the controls of an animatronic Stegosaurus to learn about dinosaur anatomy, and have fun with interactive stations that explore dinosaur digestion, sounds, skin, and bones.
