SPECIAL TRAVELING EXHIBIT
The Lost World of Dragons explores the histories of these legendary beasts and the cultures that celebrate them! This unique exhibition features life-size animatronic dragons and interactive displays including:
- Scavenger hunts
- Dragon fossil dig
- Shadow puppet theatre
- VR dragon flight experience with HTC Vive
- Custom-designed themed scenery environments.

Hands-on and interactive child-sized neighborhood with roundabouts for tricycles, shops, and a charming three-story tree house for ages 0-6.
DISCOVERY HALL
HANDS-ON GALLERY
Hands-on learning for all ages that makes science fun. Explore the giant interactive Great Lakes water table, Earth Globe, and 10 other hands-on spaces.

Inclusive and immersive stories of Flint and Genesee County’s historical events spanning from the region’s earliest inhabitants through history-in-the-making.
DISCOVERY LAB MAKER SPACE
DISCOVERY LAB
Discovery Lab is a state-of-the-art maker space where guests can create, invent, and design. It features several stations with rotating STEM activities, a paint room (and wash station), plenty of crafting materials and LEGOS. Educators are always on staff to assist.
End your visit at the Museum Store for unique gifts and souvenirs, or grab a snack at the Coffee Beanery Café!
FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY:
If you get hungry or thirsty during your visit, the Coffee Beanery Café is located in the main lobby before you get into the museum. The café menu has kid-friendly breakfast and lunch items, snacks, and hot & cold beverages. Snacks and sack lunches containing prepared food are allowed and may be consumed in the Coffee Beanery Café. Please do not bring in catered food, fast food from other restaurants, or large coolers of unprepared food into the café. Please help us keep our galleries and artifacts pest-free by consuming all food and beverages inside the cafeteria, or outside on the patio if weather permits. We provide free lockers for storage of any food items or valuables you'd like to keep safe while enjoying the museum. Thank you.
