Safety Highlights
● Hygiene: Program spaces and furniture will be sanitized before each program. Supplies (scissors, glue sticks, etc.) will be sanitized before use and will not be shared.

Emergency Contact Form
We will hold all forms electronically to minimize contact touch with educators.
● The Emergency Contact Form can be printed off at home, signed, scanned, and emailed in.
● If you do not have access to a computer or printer, you can request to have a form mailed to your home. Please request printed forms by email at education@sloanlongway.org. You can also request forms by phone at 810‐237‐3409.
● If you mail in or drop off your signed form to Longway Planetarium, we will scan forms into our system.

Maker Lab Camp: Tinker and Test

Experience the “Maker Lab Camp: Tinker and Test” where you will build and discover how stuff works! Create new inventions out of old, explore how simple materials can create strong structures, and experiment with contraptions that fly, flutter, and free-fall. If our inventions flop, no need to stop. We will re-design and try again!

Potato Power

Finding a Fossil

Hmm.. Finding a fossil may not be as easy as it sounds. You’ll explore fossil samples, try your luck at hunting for fossils in fossil-rich sediment, and create your own fossil model to take home. You’ll even hear from a guest speaker who just returned from a dig!

Whiteout Winter Camp
4th-6th Grades
