Buick Gallery is closed for repairs. Sloan Museum plans to display vehicles from its automotive collection at Courtland Center Mall, though a date for the exhibition to open has not been set.
The Buick Automotive Gallery is also home to the Sloan Museum’s Perry Archives. Here we house a wide array of photographs, records and objects chronicling the people and history of Flint and Genesee County, Michigan. The Archives are open to the public by appointment. Researchers are encouraged call 810.237.3440 or send an email to Collections@SloanLongway.org to arrange an appointment with Collections staff.

Buick Motor Division
When Buick Motor Division relocated from Flint in 1999, Sloan*Longway received a tremendous donation of materials. Sales literature, promotional photographs, production information, wholesale order forms, service and product description manuals, and early company history records were included. Employee information was not maintained.
Members of the Flint Genealogical Society are available on Wednesdays between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to assist guests with genealogical research.
