EXPLORE YOUR PAST, DISCOVER YOUR FUTURE

Golden Memories

FREE EVENT
Date: Sunday, September 15, 2019
Event Time: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Vehicle Registration: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

This very special event is exclusively for original or authentically restored vehicles produced in 1969 or earlier. The Golden Memories Automobile Gathering is sponsored by Friends of Sloan*Longway, making it free to exhibitors and attendees. We welcome all authentic and original automobiles 1969 and prior. No visual modifications are allowed. Dash plaques to the first 175 vehicles.

Returning: We are bringing back the Suitcase Swap Meet. Vehicle owners are welcome to sell or trade anything they can fit in a suitcase. There will also be a People’s Choice Award. Spectators and owners can vote for their favorite car of the show. Registration takes place between 9:30 a.m. and 12 noon the day of the event. An award will be given to the youngest registrant. There will be drawings for free hot dogs and ice cream cones given away every hour.

The show is free and open to the public to walk among the vehicles. This event is non-competitive, so there will be no judging; just a relaxing day with friends and fellow car enthusiasts who love well-preserved and restored automobiles. Lottery drawing for the dash plaque vehicle of the 2020 show. Special recognition and a pass-in review for vehicles celebrating 50, 75, and 100 year anniversaries.

Congratulations to our 2019 dash plaque featured vehicle: 1929 Ford Model A owned by Leroy & Phyllis Truman.
